Tuition information

CHESSIE classes run from September through mid-May. It is the intent that a student will be in class for the entire school year and it should be the exception where a child is dropped from class mid-year.
Material fee amount: $50 per student for the school year. This is due with registration and is non-refundable after June 15, 2021.

Sports Tuition = $10 per student per month for child #1 and #2 in the same family. Additional children in the same family $5 per student. Please note that September is the grace month for sports. Families may choose to drop sports with no further obligation. After September, families are required to pay the sports fee for the remainder of the school year. The CHESSIE budget is set at the end of September and we cannot meet our costs if sports fees are not paid.
Material fee for the presidential physical fitness class is $30 per child per year. This covers equipment and incentives throughout this program.
Facility Fee = $15 per family per month if participating in sports or $8 per family per month if not participating in sports, just science.

Tuition obligation if a child is dropped from class follows: August 1 --September 30 is the grace period to drop a class. Dropping a class during this period does not result in tuition obligation for the remaining months of the school year. September‘s tuition is due at the orientation meeting 10:30-12:00 on August 25th.

October 1 --November 30: Dropping a class during these months incurs a tuition obligation of 20% of the remainder of the tuition for the entire school year. December 1 --January 30: Dropping a class during these

months incurs a tuition obligation of 50% of the remainder of the tuition for the entire school year.

February 1 --May 30: Dropping a class during these months necessitates paying 100% of the remainder of the tuition for the entire school year.
